Crusade for Connor
'Crusade for Connor' is returning in 2026 to continue building Connor's legacy and supporting NeuRA's research into Schizophrenia. This year's Crusade will be a 5km walk / 10km run at The Dock, Kingston on May 9 at 11am.
We're very appreciative of everyone's generosity over the past 3 years, and if you are able to donate this year, all proceeds will continue last year's efforts to support Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) research into Schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterised by a disconnection from reality, which affects how a person thinks, feels and behaves. Schizophrenia emerges in adolescence or young adulthood and affects approximately 1 in 100 people in Australia and worldwide.
NeuRA's research is focused on understanding the underlying causes of Schizophrenia and finding new treatments that help manage symptoms and improve quality of life for people affected.
